The Fishtaylz Crew

The hands and hearts that built our haven

Fishtaylz was carved out of rock, pine, and Sturgeon Lake water by family hands. From solar panels to the screened porch, every corner reflects three generations who believe life is sweetest off the grid.

Around The Camp

Roles, rituals, and campkeepers

Every visit takes teamwork—hauling water filters, stoking woodstoves, steering the aluminum boat, and dealing cards once the sun drops below the tree line.

The Builders & Keepers

The Next Cast

Shore Patrol & Pups

The visionaries who spent years clearing timber, running solar lines, and engineering our retreat. If something needs fixing or the woodbox needs filling, they are already on it.

First on the water before dawn chasing walleye and bass, and last to leave the dock when the loons call. Handing down navigational landmarks and lake lore to the kids.

The camp dogs guarding the shoreline from curious chipmunks, and grandchildren learning how to bait a hook, skip flat stones, and toast the perfect golden marshmallow.

Camp Creed

Out here on Sturgeon Lake, time doesn't tick by minutes—it's measured in morning coffee on the dock, woodsmoke in wool sweaters, and laughter echoing across calm water.
